Windows 10 Apps Won T Start
Several of my windows 10 Apps won't open. They are the Mail and Calendar, Calculator, Voice Recorder, Alarms and Clock, and Solitaire Apps. They open for a second and then close. They are not even listed with the rest of the Apps. They are all at thebottom of the list under the heading Other.
Here is an excerpt from Bogging Windows regarding Start Menu apps: Here are some known issues for this build. We know this one will be a bit painful but there is a bug with this build in which Win32 (desktop) apps won’t launch from the Start menu.
All of these apps are in the update queue in the windows store, but when I try to update them I get the error code 0X80070003. I have tried several of the fixes that I found online but none have worked. I eventook it to a local computer repair shop and the guy there couldn't even fix it. This is very annoying and any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a test, temporarily disable or uninstall the AV or firewall program.When you disable Antivirus:Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to installother software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.I also recommend Run the Windows update Troubleshooter:. Press “Windows + X” and select Control panel.
In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then clickTroubleshooting. Under System and Security, click Fix problems with Windows Updates.Please try to empty the Software Distribution folder for a test:. Press Win+R, type services.msc. Click the Name column heading to sort the names in reverse order. Find theWindows Update service, right-click it, and then click Stop. Open C:Windows, and then double-click the SoftwareDistribution folder. Double-click the DataStore folder to open it, and then delete all files in the folder.
Click the Back button. In the SoftwareDistribution folder, double-click theDownload folder to open it, delete all files in the folder, and then close the window. Restart Windows Update service.
