Today I want to show you my favorite Call of Duty WAW custom zombies maps, so you guys can download them and have fun yourselves! I also want to show you some of the ways to download and install them, since its pretty difficult to do it the first time. I would also like to mention that this is only possible on PC, and only if you have on official CD or digital copy of the game. And tell me in the comments if you would like me to also show you how to play PC games with a PS/XBOX controller.
Before I start, I quickly want to thank every single person who voted my Top 8 games list, since it really means a lot to me and it has motivated me to keep doing this, because I enjoy it, and if you enjoy it i´m happy. So without further ado, let´s begin.I will start by showing you a few of my favorite maps. This does not mean that all the other maps are shit; in fact, there are some maps I love that I will not be including on here just for the sake of keeping this blog short.
Also I don't prefer any of these maps over the other, so the ranking is just to orientate you. Ill leave a secure link of the map post, so you can see its features and download it!
I will also paste a video of the map, so you can get an idea of it, BUT I don't take credit to any of these videos. You should check out the creators of the videos on YouTube!#1 Nacht Der Untoten Reimagined V2.1. The all classic MW2 multiplayer map Rust is brought back as the ultimate zombie slaying playground.
It has 11 perks (including Widows Wine); a ton of COD4, MW2 and MW3 guns; and just a fun/chill feel in general. Its one of those mas to lay back and have a nice time on, since its fairly easy and it has no perk limit (like most maps).
If you're not such an experienced zombies player I recommend you download this map and train a little bit with it, so you can get a feel for the mode and try out some other more complex maps.Check it out here:#4 Stairway to Hell. Stairway to Hell is a map that makes you heavily rely on your hording skills, since there are literally NO camping spots on this map, and the guns are not that powerful. Also there is NO WONDER WEAPON, so that's why you cant expect to demolish everything in front of you just like that. How this map works is you start in a rather big room, but with multiple spawns, the mystery box and Quick Revive.
You have to pay 2.000 points for the first door, which will open up a large staircase to the next level (floor). Every level has its own perk and spawns, but there are no wall weapons on this map, so you have to rely on the box in the first level.
Once you activate the second level, every single next level will cost you +2.000 (except last ones which only cost +1.000); so for example level 3 costs 4.000 points, level 4 costs 6.000 points, and so on and so forth. This map has a lot of open space which makes it awesome to train/horde in and it is just fun and different, so that's what makes it special. There is an updated version which adds Widows Wine and the Thundergun, among other things, but I feel it takes away the challenge of the map, so I recommend playing the original version of StH.Check it out here:#5 Hotel V2.1.
This is a rather challenging map to me. It is really easy and chill when you set-up and get all your guns and perks; but the set-up itself is hard and challenging.
This is a hotel, where there are 2 spawn windows in the basement, that's it, so every single zombie will come from the basement. Sounds easy right?
You spawn in the basement, where there is only a Ballista Wallbuy. And there are like 6.000 points worth of doors before you can get to another Wallbuy, and 4.000 more before you can get to Jugg. Plus the price of those things. You will be in the tight basement for a few rounds buddy!
This map demands a lot of hording skill and a bit of luck on the beginning, but gets easier the more you go up the rounds (because you get set up), so its a really interesting and fun map that you should try out at least a few times.Check it out here:#6 Super Mario 64 Zombies. I remember playing Super Mario 64 on my DS every single day, beating it over and over again, getting all the stars and finding all the secrets (Youtube didn't have that kind of videos at the time). And then a few weeks ago I see this map on the Forum, I play it a few times, and i´m like: WOW.This makes the original kid friendly sunny castle, into an awesome zombie slaughtering fun-house, with 8 Perks, a ton of different weapons, some cool teleporting mechanics, and Bowser who only has more health than the zombies. The only downside to this map is that there are a lot of doors and they all cost to much; but apart from that, this map is really cool, and you should give it a shot;).Check it out here:#7 Alien Defense V1.1. Ok, this map is something different. Essentially the zombies don't go after you, but you cant go around the whole map,and the goal is to kill the hordes of zombies before they get to the teleporter.
It has perks, PaP and the Box, but it is also really challenging to hold off the almost never ending hordes of zombies. It requires a lot of precision and strategy, and I find its a really nice concept.
Play it with your friends and have a nice time.Check it out here:So those were some of my favorite maps to download, but now i´m going to show you how to do it!You will need an official copy of Call of Duty: World at War, so no pirated copies,it doesn't matter if its physical or digital, just has to be official. Then you want to have the game installed and find the folder C:Users(Name of your User)AppDataLocalActivisionCoDWaWmods. There will be all the mods that you install. You want to download a map from www.zombiemodding.com or ugx-mods.com, since they will be installed in the folder with a few clicks. But if you download a map from any external site, you will have to extract or put it in that folder. I also recommend getting the UGX- Map manager from this site: ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php/topic,49.0.html, since it makes downloading and launching way easier.
If you have the cut version (when you buy it on Steam in Germany, Australia, New Zealand and some other countries) it will seem that everything is OK, until you try to play the map. Most of the maps (90%) need resources that are only available in the original uncut version. So download this (an uncut patcher which literally makes your cut version into uncut) and extract it on an empty folder (better for orientation). Then extract all the files with WinRAR and a.exe file will appear called CallOfDutyWaWUCPV4.exe. That's THE ONLY THING you want to click. Click on it, accept everything, and wait until its done. Now, every time you open WAW again, it will say uncut version.
And this will also allow you to play zombies with no borders. If it has errors, reinstall the cut game and repeat the process. So if you enjoyed this Blog make sure to Upvote it! And if you have some suggestions, tell me in the comments. Also if you would like to play Zombies with me, my Steam ID is kylenator. I will be posting more often from now on, so stay tuned for a fun time!
Thanks and Bye.-Kyle;-).

The files I link are completely legal. I have simply re-hosted them since it's easier to manage and the CoD WaW ISO still needs an activation key (Which you can buy for like £3). If it goes wrong just uninstall the game and try again.Alright, today I'm going to teach you how to get custom zombies maps on WaW since it's a huge pain in the ass to do.Programs & Files. You will need WinRAR. Download it (This is the Ninite installer that gets rid of tool bars and installs the correct version).
Download Daemon Tools (This will allow you to mount the CoD WaW ISO). Download CoD WaW (This is the ISO file that will be mounted using Daemon Tools). Download the patches (This is patch 1.1 through to 1.7, it also includes every map pack in WaW since they were free on PC)Installing. Run the Ninite installer for WinRAR. Run the Daemon Tools installer.
Extract the CoD WaW ISO file. This may take a while. Mount the ISO with Daemon Tools. Go to My Computer and explore the new disc that should be there. Open the folder called 'Crack' and copy the 'CoDWaW' exe to your desktop. Go back to the disc and run 'setup.exe'.
This is the part where you will need a serial key. I will not provide one as it is illegal but if you search Google for ' you should be able to find a website where you can buy one for super cheap.
Say yes to installing PunkBuster. Say yes to installing DirectX. Setup should be completeRunning The Game. Now that setup has been completed it may launch you straight into the game.
For me, it didn't. If it didn't, navigate to where you installed the game and find the 'CoDWaW' exe file. Run the game. Pissed off now?
It's asking you for the disc isn't it?. Copy the 'CoDWaW' exe that you pasted onto the Desktop earlier and paste it into the game folder. Replace the existing one.
Make a shortcut to the 'CoDWaW' exe on your desktop. Now run 'CoDWaW' Hey presto! It works!. You may be prompted to create a new profile. If not, then go to 'Select online profile.' One profile may already be there.
If there is, delete it. You should now be prompted to create a new profile. It has to be like a Gamertag so it can't just be anything. So, for example you could be 'John4521584'. It may error a few times, so try different names.

Once it has been created, go to 'Select online profile' and make sure that yours is selected. You can tell if it is selected because on the main menu it will say 'Online: Name here' in the top right. Now go to 'Options and controls' then click 'Game options' and make sure that the console is enabled.
Press the '`¬¦' key (It's next to the number 1 on your keyboard) to show the console. It should show the version which should be 1.0 blah blah blah. Close CoD WaW.Installing the patchesThis part is both easy and time consuming. Extract the 'Patches' file you downloaded.
This may take a while. You should now see patches 1.1 through to 1.7. Run patch 1.1 and go through the wizard clicking 'Next' all the way through. Do the same for the rest of the patches. If you accidentally run the same patch again do not worry because it will tell you if it has already been installed. This is also a good way to check if each patch installed successfully.
Once all the patches have been installed, run the game again. It may ask you to insert the disc again. This is because the patches removed the vanilla 'CoDWaW' file.
No problem, just simply replace the one in there with the cracked one from the ISO that should still be on your desktop. Run the game and open the console. It should now say 1.7 and if you check solo you should have zombies there with all the maps.Congratulations, you have successfully installed and patched CoD WaW!Installing Custom Zombies MapsFirst off, you are going to need to download some maps. How To Download Custom Zombie Maps For Waw Pc
To play the map just select it and press 'Launch'. The game will restart and bring you back to the main menu. Depending on the developer of the map, you may have an option called 'Launch into solo' if you do, then great, but if not then you will have to launch it via the console. To play a map via the console, make sure that you have launched it and it has brought you to the main menu. Next, open the console and type '/map nazi zombie Map Name' (They have no spaces between the underscores, that is just Reddit making me type it that way) So, for example, If I launched the map 'Rocket Base' I would type '/map nazi zombie silo' and then press enter. To find out what the correct command is for the map just check the folder name that you dragged and dropped, or you can check the forum or place you downloaded it from.
Every map will start with '/map nazi zombie ' and end with the map's name (For example, night, prototype etc)Everything should now be complete and done. So I've followed every step, I've installed the game. I'm at the part where I have to create my profile, but when I click 'Select online profile' it crashes my game and gives me an error saying 'Unhandled exception caught.'
When I hover over the error box it says 5 profiles are already created.EDIT: So I managed to get passed this error (for now lol), now I'm getting another error. When I try to create a new profile account I click OK, then it asks me again to create it, it keeps asking non-stop, help?.
